The three day event was a wonderful community day that was full of excitement, enthusiasm, entertainment, and educational experiences. We had presenters, food, and vendors of every description. We are putting our energy and resources towards our young people. Our vision is to prepare our youth for greatness with unity among humanity! We will educate, while having fun, promote a balanced life with purpose development to raise them to their highest growth potential.

THE 2022 OBAMA WEEKEND WAS HELD AT THE BARACK OBAMA ACADEMY IN DETROIT.THE THREE DAY EVENT ATTRACTED OVER 500 PEOPLE EACH DAY .THE EVENT HAD IN ATTENDANCE MISS JUNETEENTH, A DRONE FLYER, AN OPERA SINGER, KARAOKE, SONG, DANCE, FOOD, BEVERAGE.
THE EVENT ALSO FEATURED OFFICIALS FROM THE U.S NAVY AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND OTHER CITY OFFICIALS ALONG WITH OTHER PROACTIVE GROUPS.

OBAMA WEEKEND VENDOR CONTRACT RULES
Contracts must be signed and money must be paid to become a Vendor.
Vendor’s fee is $100.00 for 3 days. The fee will be $150.00 if paid after August 2, 2023.
We must have a copy of your food handler’s certificate or your Vendor’s
license if selling food.
If you need a food safety certificate, you can receive it online. Website is below.

You must have your own power source for energy.
No illegal substance, plants or alcohol can be sold.
Vendor set up time is between 10:00 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. each day.
The vendor must agree not to vacate the premises unless there is an emergency or otherwise you will lose your spot.
Please adhere to the Contract Rules as stated above. Any violations will be a reason for removal from the premises.
